Personal Information Security & Credit Card Submissions
Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC Fund, Inc.) does not store sensitive or transmitted information on our web server. Information submitted to us through our web site, either through web-based forms, e-mail, or through our e-commerce (shopping cart) program is held strictly confidential. Credit card information for payment processing, is only used to process your order and not stored on our servers.
At times, the information submitted in person is swiped into remote credit card machines or entered into our web server by MACC Fund staff. This information is encrypted upon entry. Sensitive information received in writing is destroyed immediately. MACC Fund may use outside organizations to perform specialized services such as, but not limited to, credit card processing and order fulfillment. These service providers are only given the information needed to perform those services and they are bound contractually to protect the privacy and security of your information and to limit the use of your information to the service being provided.
