2010 J.K. Lee Board Break-a-Thon
The 16th annual J.K. Lee Board Break-A-Thon fundraiser, to benefit the MACC Fund and the H.O.T. Unit of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, will be held Saturday February 20th 2010 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mayfair Mall´s Center Court. Proceeds will benefit all local children suffering from cancer and related blood disorders.
This year´s fund-raiser is dedicated to Tae Kwon Do student nine-year-old Hollyn Peterson, who is currently battling cancer. Community members are invited to stop by to donate and try their hand (or foot!) at board breaking. All who donate will break at least one board and get the chance to win door prizes. All proceeds from the event go directly to the MACC Fund and the H.O.T. Unit at Children´s Hospital of Wisconsin. Martial Arts demonstrations will be performed each hour.
