Laacke & Joys/Midwest Airlines Extreme Plane Pull Set For Take Off!
Can coed teams of 12 pull an MD80 aircraft weighing 82,900 pounds across the tarmac in less than 10 seconds?
You can be the first to know if you join us for the Laacke & Joys/Midwest Airlines Extreme Plane Pull on Saturday, September 23rd. Over 300 participants will be ready to compete for the top prize of complimentary roundtrip travel on Milwaukee’s favorite airline, Midwest Airlines. Prizes will also be rewarded to the team with the most spirit and to the team who raises the most money for the MACC Fund and kids with cancer.

Everyone is a winner when they pull together for kids with cancer like Brandon Novack. Brandon designed the 2005 TODAYS TMJ4 MACC Star holiday ornament. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic t-cell leukemia in December, 2002. Brandon is now entering his junior year at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School. Brandon has a great love of sports and a great ambassador for childhood cancer research encouraging everyone to help us Win the Game of Life.
The MACC Fund, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, is pleased to be part of this great annual event raising funds for critical childhood cancer research and related blood disorders. Since the inception of the MACC Fund in 1976, $25 million has been contributed to research resulting in overall cure rates of 80%. The primary beneficiary of MACC Fund support is the Midwest Children’s Cancer Center with research conducted in the MACC Fund Research Center of the Medical College of Wisconsin. The MACC Fund is also pleased to support ongoing innovative research efforts underway at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.
