Piggly Wiggly Soccer Scramble to benefit the MACC Fund again!
Piggly Wiggly,long time MACC Fund supporter, is pleased to once again team up with the Milwaukee Wave to present the Piggly Wiggly Soccer Scramble for MACC at all Milwaukee Wave home games during the 2003-2004 season.
The 2002-2003 season saw the Scramble debut with resounding success with net proceeds of more than $8,900 presented to the MACC Fund in support of critical childhood cancer research.
Before each home game, Milwaukee Wave fans are invited to rent mini-soccer balls for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. At a designated point during the game, fans will be invited to throw their rented mini-soccer balls onto the field with the goal of hitting specific on-field targets. Those who hit the targets will be eligible for a grand prize drawing at season's end. The grand prize is a one-year lease of a Subaru Baja courtesy of Don Jacobs Subaru.
