February 2010 - A Hope-filled Month
Dear Friends:
February is a month filled with celebrations and holidays. February's celebrations leave the month brimming with special days--Ground Hog Day, Valentine's Day, Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, and one of my favorites, Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17th).
At the MACC Fund, February is also a month filled with special events and fundraisers sure to break up the winter doldrums and bring hope to children battling cancer and blood disorders. From family events to a formal gala, February is packed with fun!
We hope to see you at one of February's great events!
Blessings,

Your Gifts in Action
In November 2009, the MACC Fund UW Childhood Cancer Research Wing opened at the University of Wisconsin Madison’s Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research.
Your clinicians and researchers there are working to find cures and treatments for childhood cancer. They are extremely gratefully for the opportunity to work in this new space which will greatly increase collaborative efforts.
The MACC Fund distributed $3 million in research support in 2009 for a "Gift of Hope Through Research"—Thanks to You! |
